Kitchen at the Sanctuary

The Kitchen at the United Methodist Church in Eustis is the site selected for the Abundant Tables dining experience. Ingredients are locally sourced from community growing partners and grocers alike. The Garden at the Cottages, The Victory Garden and local farmers and growers come together to donate fresh pesticide free produce for the free meals at the community kitchen. Ingredients such as meat and starches necessary for meals are purchased by leaders of the kitchen team or donated by local grocers and food pantries.

Meals are free of cost and open and available to all in the community who wish to dine. Dinner service is the third Sunday each month from 6pm to 8pm and Breakfast service is weekly on Fridays from 8am-10am.

Community partnerships with local gardens and grocers are anticipated to cut the meal costs. Our hope is to provide access to fresh, pesticide free produce with each meal.

According to the Eustis Master Plan, 89.7% of Eustis residents want to see more Farmer’s Markets, 56% would like to see more Artisinal/Speciality markets. The Eustis United Methodist Church is located in what is considered the South Eustis Gateway. The intended space for the garden, located at 600 S. Grove St. provides a prime location for growing and gathering.
